Ways to use your flat iron

Hello everyone! This post will include 7 ways to use a flat iron, plus instructions on how to do them. I hope you like it!

→ BEACH WAVES ←
For instant waves, section your hair into two-inch strands and braid each of them. Squeeze your flat iron down each braid, one at a time

→ BOUNCY CURLS ←
Clamp your flat iron at the top of about a two-inch section of your hair, then twist the iron 90 degrees up or down and pull it through your hair

→ BRiGHT STRANDS ←
After applying hair chalk, go over your hair with a flat iron to make the colors super vibrant! This smooths out your cuticles, trapping the pretty pastel chalk inside so it looks like you really dyed your hair

→ BOUNCY BLOWOUT ←
Similar to curling your hair, you can use a flat iron to just add a little bit of movement to the bottom of your hair. Starting about three inches from the end of your hair, clamp the iron on small sections of your hair, flip it up or down 90 degrees, and pull it through gently

→ SiDE-SWEPT BANGS ←
After blow drying your fringe in all different directions, use a mini straightener to get right up to your roots and straighten hair while sweeping your bangs to the side

→ CRiMPED HAiRSTYLE ←
To create a cool crimp, grab a one-inch section of your hair and position your flat iron at the root. Begin twisting your wrist back and forth slowly, as you glide the iron all the way down to your ends. Repeat until all strands of hair has been tended to

→ BED-HEAD TEXTURE ←
First, mist your hair with a salt spray. Then, loosely braid a few one-inch sections of your hair around your face. Run your iron over the braids, then undo them to reveal the roughed-up effect.
