10 of My Favorite Bible Verses

These aren't in any particular order, just 10 of my favorite verses. They are definitely words to live by. Post your favorites in the comments section below!

1) Psalm 118:8 It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man.

2) Philippians 3:13-14  Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,  I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

3) Luke 11: 9-10 "So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.  For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened

4) Hewbrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

5) Act 18:9-10 Now the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, “Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent;  for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you; for I have many people in this city.”

6) Romans 8:30 Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

7) Psalms 34:4 I sought the Lord, and He heard me And delivered me from all my fears.

8) Mark 5:36 As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue,“Do not be afraid; only believe.”

9) Mark 2:17 When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

10) Psalms 25:9 The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way.
