O1) baths
+ baths are the perfect thing to relax, and just lay there for an hour or two when no ones around.put in floral scented bubbles and stuff, but you could also light candles, and lemon, light some incense, whatever you prefer! for more ideas, just google some nice bath essentials. ;)
O2) exercise
- yes, i'm dead serious. exercise calms me down a lot. i find that the weeks i work out at least 3-4 days are a lot more enjoyable than the weeks where i just sit and sleep and watch t.v. and eat junk food. i feel really bad when i don't at least do some yoga or work on flexibility to warm my muscles up. running and cardio are the best workouts in my opinion. i like running in the early morning when it's still a little dark 1) because no one is out that early, so no one sees me running and 2) it's really pretty in my neighborhood around dawn! just find active things you like to do and schedule some you-time to do them!
O3) yoga
- yes, this is exercise but with less exertion. perfect if you're not into hardcore sweating. ;) google some poses (most have benefits such as activating the thyroid, kick-starting your metabolism, etc.) and try them out! create a routine to do in the morning or before bed.
O4) family time
- sometimes spending time or having dinner with your loved ones reassures people. makes you feel less alone. :) i'm really close with my mom. Takes my mind off of all my chores and homework when i just joke around with my momma a little bit. :)
O5) me time
- play some soft music and light my favorite candles (candle obsessions are real and mine is running strong lol) and just do what you like to do.
Hope you enjoy this relaxing post. Enjoy your weekend

O6) tea
- i drink a LOT of tea tbh. i used to be obsessed with green tea (decaf) but i have a lot of peppermint (for cramps) and chamomile (helps me sleep) in my cabinet as well. different teas have tons of benefits and it's so so so good for you! i think there is a tea that at least one person will like, everyone can find one to enjoy. google tea benefits and find ones you might want to try! i get small boxes of tea bags and boil water and then let it steep before adding artificial sweetener. you can add milk and sugar or honey, etc, to make it even better! i don't suggest the jugs of Arizona tea because it's all pre-sweetened and usually not decaf. the bags are more natural. :)
O7) massages
- believe it or not, there are ways to give yourself a massage! have a headache? lean over the sink with a cool, damp washcloth on the back of your neck and massage your temples for 2 minutes. feeling better? thought so.
