Getting Up For School

Here's a tip for getting up for school successfully.

First off! GET A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP. It's no fun to be falling asleep on the way to school or in class. School was made for education, and you need to get as much as you can in while you're there. Also, smiling at yourself in the mirror has been proven to brighten your day. So do it! You deserve to be happy.

1) Set your alarm clock somewhere away from your reach. It's better for you to get up and out from your covers and turn off your alarm than having it at your reach where you barely have to move to turn it off.

2) Listen to music on a stereo or with headphones.
Listening to music, dancing, even singing really helps brighten your day and wake you up to! It's even better listening and singing in the shower if you're taking a shower in the morning.

3)Wash your face if you don't plan on taking a shower that morning. A lot of face washes have "wake up" beads in them to help wake you up.

4)Get your schedule right. You know yourself the best. If you take 5 minute showers, you can manage to sleep in. But if you take 45 minute showers, you might need to sacrifice some time in order to shower.

5) Eat breakfast. I usually eat breakfast after I put on my clothes and makeup, so afterwards I can quickly go touch up hair or makeup, brush my teeth, put in my contacts, etc. STAY AWAY FROM HEAVY CAFFEINE. (learned from experience)

6) Get to school on time! It's always best to be early.

7) Have a positive attitude. It's no fun when you're complaining about how tired you are. If that's your topic in every conversation, you need more sleep.
